5 BOOKS I LOVED IN 2023

Happy 2024! I hope it’s being good to you so far!

To kick off the New Year, I wanted to share five of my favorite books from 2023 (you know, in case your TBR needed some help 😘).

THE ROOK

This is not a romance/spicy read, but it was so freaking fun. This book has become my number one recommendation for everyone, regardless of what genres they normally read (or if they’re just getting into reading).

I also read the second book this year and LOVED it, too!

THE STRANGER IN SEAT 8B

This book was recommended to me when I asked for some in-flight novellas to distract me from life stress on our trip back from Mexico.

And it 100% delivered. I was sucked up into this little world and had so much fun reading it.

A perfect, short, spicy read.

GUNNER

This whole series, really, needs to be read. But this was my favorite in the four-book collection. I love an accidental pregnancy and redeemed man and this had both. Done incredibly well.

PERSUADER

Another non-romance rec, but I’m obsessed with Reacher on Prime, so I’ve been reading the backlog of Lee Child books.

Not all have been amazing, but this one was so, so good. I loved the twists and turns and the first person POV.

Loathe to Love You

This is collection of three novellas and I loved every one of them, though Below Zero was my favorite.

I’m HERE for any kind of STEM content in my books, especially women in STEM, so I very much enjoyed these three ladies and their incredible men.

I can’t wait to see what new faves this year will bring!
